Paul Afena is currently Finance Manager at NBC Ghana Trust with thirteen years of working experience in various senior management positions. He is a financial accountant by profession and holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.

His career began at Opportunity International Savings and Loans as a Loan Officer, where he rose to Senior Loan Officer within a year and a half. He later served as Internal Audit Officer and Deputy Audit Manager at Ayrton Drugs and Adcock Ingram, and as Financial Controller at UBI Energy and acting Group Controller for UBI Group of companies before joining NBC Ghana Trust.

He brings deep experience in oil and gas management, taxation, auditing, and financial reporting.
