Meet Our Chief Executive Officer

Maxwell has some 17 years of work experience in the pensions industry spanning different areas, with 13 of those years of leadership and management, specifically in scheme design and setups, scheme operationalization and administration, investments administration and management, trustee services, client acquisition and servicing in both formal and informal sectors.

Strategic Skills That Drive Results

Maxwell was appointed CEO of Negotiated Benefits Trust Ltd. (NBC Ghana Trust) in September 2023. Prior to his appointment, Maxwell worked with Stallion Trust and Administration Company Limited as the Chief Operations Officer, Negotiated Benefits Trust Limited (NBC Ghana Trust) as Head of Fund Administration and client accounts; and Ideal Pensions Trust Limited as Head of Operations and Client Services. He also served as the Chairman and Independent Trustee for Unilever Ghana Pension Schemes.

Recognized & Certified Excellence

Maxwell received an MSc. Accounting and Finance from The University of Northampton in 2017, and a B.Sc. Administration (Banking & Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School in 2007. He also received his Ghana Securities Industry Certificate in 2010 from the Ghana Stock Exchange and received a Trustee Training Certificate in 2019 from The Irish Pensions Authority covering Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution models.

Awards & Recognitions

Maxwell has also undergone varied training locally and overseas in trusteeship, pensions fund administration, investment management, micro-financing and venture capital financing.
